Today, Axiomtek is pleased to announce the eBOX310-830-FL compact in-vehicle box computer for in-vehicle use. To further ensure its implementation for in-vehicle applications, the fanless eBOX310-830-FL is certified with E-Mark Certification (E-13) and ISO-7637 power standard, which certifies it compatible with other vehicle components and meets tier-1 car maker's requirement. In addition, the design of power module incorporates a MCU microprocessor for power control. The unit is powered by an Intel® Core™2 Duo processor with the Intel® 945GME and ICH7M chipsets. One 200-pin DIMM socket supports up to 2GB DDR2 400/533 DRAM for high memory bandwidth. The eBOX310-830-FL with anti-vibration up to 2Grms (with HDD) and excellent thermal resistance is an all-in-one in-vehicle computer for use in any car, truck, bus or even for maritime applications.

The rugged eBOX310-830-FL supports 9 to 36 V wide-range DC power input. Most importantly, its special power protection (ISO-7637 certified) prevents electrical transient, guarding against damage from car power. The intelligent power ignition switch function turns on the eBOX310-830-FL automatically when the vehicle starts and also shuts down when the vehicle is turned off, and its power on/off timing can be modified easily. Moreover, it has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error. The eBOX310-830-FL is a compact, powerful, all-in-one, fanless embedded system designed for rugged and space-critical in-vehicle applications.

Measuring only 224 x 250 x 65 (mm) in size, the compact ideal features rich I/O connections, including one 2.5” SATA drive bay, one CompactFlash™ Type-II socket, three COM ports, two USB 2.0, two Gigabit LANs, three SMA type connector openings, DVI-I, Power module consol port and audio. Additionally the super compact device delivers high-bandwidth expansion capability with two MiniPCI Express for custom system configurations such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, WiFi, WiMAX, Bluetooth, HSDPA, and more. Additionally, this in-vehicle box computer supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded, and Linux. For flexible installation, the eBOX310-830-FL can be din-rail-mounted, wall-mounted, or stand-mounted.
